We start the navigation from the tourist pier in the city going in our boat Les Eclaireurs heading northeast to discover Beagle Channel, with the final destination, Harberton Ranch.
On the way we stop at Bird Island, where we an spot a colony of Imperial cormorants and other birds such as skuas, southern giant petrels and black-browed albatross; in the Sea Lions Island we can see species of one and two hairs. Once in the archipelago Les Eclaireurs we can see the famous lighthouse Les Eclaireurs and also the colonies or imperial and “roqueros” cormorants.
We leave the lighthouse to continue sailing towards our destiny, on the way you can see the dominant vegetation in the area, as well as Puerto Williams town, on Navarino Island (Chile)
We sail from Harberton harbor to Martillo Island, a 15 minutes trip in a semi-rigid boat (vessel capable of navigation in the area). On the island, we will walk for 30 minutes approximately among Papuan penguins that live in the island all year long. We will be all the time with a guide who will give us information and also ensure we behave in a correct way in the island, following the rules.
After this time in the island we return sailing to Ushuaia.
