Lakes Escondido and Fagnano – classic

Leaving the city, we pass through the area where the electronics industry developed in the 1970s.

After crossing the Olivia River we border its homonymous mountain to make our first stop at the Carbajal valley viewpoint, where we will appreciate the immensity of the place, its relief and the glaciers in the background.

We continue along route 3, we see the facilities of the Cerro Castor ski resort, continuing to the Haruwen resort where we will taste regional liquors and visit the southernmost motorcycle museum in the world.

Through the Garibaldi Pass we will enjoy dazzling views of the Escondido and Fagnano lakes, about 480 meters above sea level.

Further on, we will arrive at the head of Lake Fagnano, located within the grounds of Estancia La Carmen.

From this site we will go to one of the winter centers along Route 3 to enjoy a refreshing lunch **.
