Horseback Experience is a horseback ride through the Estancia 25 de Mayo Natural Reserve, where we can feel the immensity of the Patagonian countryside, discovering canyons, streams and stories of the southern gauchos, enjoying a picnic lunch in the Cave of the stream.
The starting point is the main house of Estancia 25 de Mayo, where we will give a brief technical talk, and after equipping ourselves with helmets and gaiters, we will leave from the corrals to the south, crossing the Cañadón del arroyo Calafate. On our way we will cross streams and geological formations that show the passage of millions of years. The canyon formed by these rocks protects us from the characteristic winds of the region, while we gain altitude on our journey.
After an hour and a half of riding we arrive at the Cueva del arroyo, where the gauchos in charge of the journey prepare a delicious picnic lunch for us. To complete the experience, we are offered a toast with wine, and then we return to the Estancia 25 de Mayo. Not suitable for children under 12 years old.
