Emerald Lagoon Trekking

We leave from your lodging to the east on Route 3. It is about 30 minutes drive until we reach kilometer 20.

From this point we will start the hike. It is about 10 kms one way where we will cross 2 totally different valleys. The first one will be the Tierra Mayor Valley which is 250 meters above sea level and the second one will be the Esmeralda River Valley.

Around midday, we will arrive at the Esmeralda Lagoon. This is the time for those unique and personal photos. Time for contemplation and enjoyment of this natural beauty that the lagoon offers us.

Lunch will be ready to enjoy: a complete sandwich and a hot tea to recover the temperature. Also included in each passenger’s meal will be an alfajor or similar and dried fruits and nuts to recover energy on the way.

The return is by the same trail to the parking lot where your transportation will be waiting for you.
